The Strangest Secret

I got my hands on a copy of The Strangest Secret by Earl Nighingale about a week ago.

And have listened to it half a dozen times since.

In his opening, he recalls an interview he heard with Dr. Albert Schweitzer.

When the reporter asked him, "Doctor, what's wrong with men today?" he paused and then responded...

"Men simply don't think."

And that's the focus of The Strangest Secret. He discusses why men don't think, and how you can learn to think for yourself...

... which is the secret he talks about.

Earl Nightingale defines success with this quote:

Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.

Then shortly after, he quotes Rollo May, who wrote, "The opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice. It is conformity."

He implies this is the real trouble with men today. Men acting like everyone else, without knowing why; without knowing where they're going.

And what if the majority of the population don't know where they're going. Follow them, and what? Where does that lead you?

Nowhere?

So what is the strangest secret? What's the solution to developing courage, realizing a worthy ideal, and not conforming? Wise men throughout the ages agreed on this, from Jesus to Ralph Waldo Emerson to Marcus Aurelius.

Simply put, here it is...

You become what you think about.

Earl Nighingale not only goes in depth explaining how this principle works, he reveals a practical application for putting the secret to work in your own life.

I highly recommend, if you want to have direction over your Life, that you get a copy of this audio TODAY and listen to it until you fully understand the soundness of it.

It's a short listen, about 30 minutes. But it's packed with in depth insights.

For example, it seems most people think that when they get what they want (i.e. money), they will be successful. Earl Nightingale implies the opposite...

When you're successful, then you'll get what you want.

Success comes first!
