Pop Music Facts and How
They Impact Your Mindset

What kind of music do you listen to? Do you ever pay attention to how it affects you and your attitude?

Below are some pop music facts you may want to consider because they can make or break your success with women. Since I only went into it briefly in Cool Guy with Women, let's talk about pop music and its effects in more detail.

This is the REAL secret to succeeding with women, because it's succeeding with your own thoughts and beliefs!

Your integrity and identity.

Since we are how we think and we bring into our lives those situations and circumstances which harmonize with the kind of thoughts we're thinking, we could define pop music as a sort of 'mind conditioning'.

So the kind of music you listen to can and usually does deeply affect your mindset as it relates directly to your 'dating' situations.

Am I Crazy?

I would have thought so at one point.

I read Think and Grow Rich once a year -- sometimes more. And up until this year, there was one chapter I was skeptical about and often wrote it off in importance, as it struck me as a little too far out there.

Today, I realize, it's the MOST important one... and that is the chapter on autosuggestion. In fact, a pop music definition, the way most of us use it, could easily be classified as autosuggestion.

For those of you not yet familiar with autosuggestion, it is the practice of consciously conditioning your subconscious mind using affirmative statements based around some goal or desire you want to have or experience in your life. By repeating them over and over with feeling, your subconscious mind begins believing them.

For example: "I know women find me irresistibly attractive."

In fact, everything we already believe was suggested to us in some form or another. The difference being we didn't have control over it -- or choose it.

So in a sense, using autosuggestion can actually be a way of UNDOING the ways we've already been deceived!

We Always Attract What We Believe

Now, the reason I wrote it off was because it appears like you're talking to yourself -- perhaps even 'lying' to yourself. In our case, if women don't currently find you attractive, wouldn't that be 'deceiving' yourself?

This dilemma was the reason I always thought affirmations were somewhat silly, until I came to a critical realization...

We all talk to ourselves -- all the time! It's called self-talk. Some of us even lie to and deceive ourselves everyday. Every time we think, "I can't..." we're lying to ourselves.

The truth is, we can. What we're really saying is, "I don't believe I can."

Very different!

So autosuggestion is CONSCIOUSLY talking to ourselves in a way that counteracts our unconscious negative self-talk rooted in our subconscious mind.

It changes our beliefs. And our beliefs then automatically change our experiences. And that's where these pop music facts come into play.

So, let’s talk about pop music...

Here are the pop music facts about how it can program your subconscious mind to fail with women -- without you even being aware of it.

And since our subconscious mind runs our lives, this IS important!

Imagine you're interested in a certain girl. Things aren't going well, but you think about her a lot. Then a song by Maroon 5 comes on the radio. What do you do? If you find it catchy, you start singing along WHILE thinking about yourself in connection with this chick...

I don't mind spending everyday, standing outside in the pouring rain. Blah, blah, poor me, blah.

Your emotions are invested in it. You're visualizing your poor situation with this chick. What's REALLY going on? Ultimately, you're confirming your doom to your subconscious mind and making it belief in a reality you don't want...

... you're programming yourself to fail with this woman.

Another of these pop music facts is that song lyrics do work as affirmations, if you emotionalize them and picture the corresponding negative scenarios around them. And with most pop music these days, you'll be confirming what you DON'T want.

Pop Music Definition: Autosuggestion

Of course, the opposite is also true.

Is it so surprising that jocks who listen to Nickelback or Metallica are better with women than the Nice Guys who listen to bands like, say, Maroon 5 or Weezer?

What are they confirming and feeding their subconscious mind? What are they communicating as a reality to their subconscious minds?

I like your pants around your feet. And I like the dirt that's on your knees. And I like the way you still say please, while you're looking up at me.

That's a very different reality!

And the mind believes whatever we feed it with emotion. Since the subconscious mind can make no distinction between imagination and reality, whatever the subconscious mind believes, it will attract those circumstances into a person's life.

And as we talk about pop music, it's obvious that listening and singing along with emotion to highly sexed musicians will feed a very different reality to the subconscious mind than Nice Guy musicians.

Startling Pop Music Facts

Remember, I'm not judging anyone's musical tastes. In fact, I enjoy the music of many 'wimpy' bands. Some are great songwriters.

No, my issue is with how a person can let it affect their mindset, how a person can let it create a weak reality and victim mentality in their subconscious mind without them even realizing it!

Just by singing along with feeling and visualizing.

So what I'm suggesting to you is, if you want to succeed with women, to be more conscious and deliberate in the kind of music or lyrics you listen to.

This is important information on pop music.

If you sing along to lyrics like, "She %$&!ing hates me," guess what?

Yep, you're going to start acting in ways that confirm it in your reality just because you've told your subconscious mind that that's your reality.

So it goes to work to make sure there's a match.

Choose your music wisely!
