Famous Musicians and Sexuality
It's curious to note a link between the famous rock musicians and sexuality.
You'll notice that, most times, the biggest rock bands with staying power are headed by highly sexed individuals, while those bands that show-up and then fade away to be forgotten in a few months are headed by androgynous frontmen.
Think Marilyn Manson, after making the losing androgeny career move. Alas, the world will always favor sexuality over androgeny.
Guys can say women are attracted to rock stars because they're famous or "they play in a band" just as women are said to be attracted to men with money and power.
But these things are just surface level.
These external 'attachments' or reputations are just the reasons some guys use to excuse themselves for their lack of success with women.
"Oh, well he's a rock star. That's why he gets chicks."
They don't look beyond, to see the REAL reason. After all, there was also a time when they weren't rock stars. Do you think their effect was any different then?
Not likely. The reason is found in who they are -- their character.
The real reason why women are magnetically attracted to rock stars is because of their highly developed Sex Nature's.
If you look through rock history, the link between musicians and sexuality is obvious, assuming you know what to look for. Those who endure the test of time tend to be highly sexed -- or at least headed by a highly sexed frontman.
The prominent ones that stand out immediately are Mick Jaggar of the Rolling Stones, Jim Morrison of The Doors, Vince Neil and Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, Axl Rose of Guns'n'Roses, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, James Hedfield of Metallica, and Gene Simmons of Kiss.
The list goes on. They could sell out arenas at a moment's notice.
These bands all stand up to time. The common denominator is sexual magnetism. Notice also that there's always a certain dangerous intensity in their eyes, which seems to be characteristic of highly sexed individuals.
You can say it's about the music -- and it is -- but the source of their music is sexual energy. Musicians and sexuality, when mixed effectively, sets the stage for timeless success.
Their highly sexed natures are, of course, also the reason rock stars often destroy themselves in the process. They let their sex energy consume them -- the very same force that brought them their initial success.
Who are the highest sexed men? First, those who master their sex energy and use it constructively, like salesmen, actors, writers, poets, painters, and musicians. And those who let their sex energy control them, using it destructively like criminals and con men.
Rock stars seem to float in between. Is it any wonder most of the famous rock stars also have histories of criminal tendencies as well.
I imagine, if you look at the histories of the rock stars listed above, most will have a criminal record. I can almost guarantee it.
There's always a common tie between aggressive behavior, rock musicians and sexuality.
Also, is it any wonder Jerks listen to highly sexed musicians while Nice Guys listen to androgynous musicians? We go towards the reflections of ourselves. "Jerk" music always has a strong, resonating, distinctive and deliberate voice behind it. It's easy to recoginize there's a spine behind singer. "Nice Guy" music tends to be sentimental with a weak, breathless voice behind their singers.
Sound has a powerful influence on our muscle tone. Strong intense tones energize us and heighten our senses, while weak tones actually drain our muscles and lower our attitude.
That's the effect musicians and sexuality have when mixed.
Jerks think the Nice Guy's choice of music is wimpy, while Nice Guys think the Jerk's music is mindless.
Take, for example, the feud between Nickelback's Chad Kroeger and Matt Good, for those in Canada, a few years ago. Classic Nice Guy vs Jerk war.
Wimpy bands always mock the sexualized giant rock acts.
Look deeper and you'll discover the jealous Nice Guy. Matt Good, a semi-popular wimpy act who falls off the planet, while Nickelback sky-rockets to the top of the rock world and continues to sell arenas long afterwards.
Perhaps if Matt understood the tie between musicians and sexuality, he wouldn't be complaining and criticizing those who achieved the success he wanted. He'd be too busy enjoying his own fame instead of seeking emotional advice and support from his mom! Really.
Though one of the local DJs in my hometown referred to Chad Kroeger as the "ugliest man in rock and roll", I've heard women exclaim how good he looks.
He's highly sexualized, and sexuality is not physical. It comes through in a self expression -- not "looks" as guys view it. It seems to radiate through a certain look in the eye, a certain tension in the brow and forehead, a certain curve to the mouth, and certain set of the jaw.
This is clearly evident in guys like Marlon Brando or Brad Pitt.
And just as there's a tie between famous rock musicians and sexuality, there's also a connection between the highest paid and long-standing actors and sexuality. Of course, this is also the case in all professions.
